Biography

Born Christa Noelle Mackey, on December 25 of an unnamed year, Kryssie was always the quirky, “different” child of the family.  Around the age of 9, she began watching the TV show 21 Jump Street and decided that her hero was Johnny Depp–and she wanted to do what he did.

She came by the spelling of her name in the year 2000.  Working as an actor in a science center in Harrisburg, she worked with three others with similar names as hers–Chris (male), Christine, and Kris (female).  So, Christa became Krysta and, eventually, Kryssie.  Since moving to California, she’s performed as an extra in several movies and has had some theatrical stints, as well.

In April of 2007, she had the opportunity to record her first, full-length demo CD.  Since then, she has recorded a good many more covers and has either mixed them herself or had them mixed by friends.  Then in December of 2009, she found Toastmasters International and joined SouthBay Toastmasters (Club 280).  She has just recently completed the requirements for Competent Communicator and is seeking the highest award: Distinguished Toast Master.

Kryssie has a varied background, a dynamic personality, and a high IQ.  She meets bi-monthly with a group for a social get-together and gaming; she manages an internet radio station; and she is the proud mother of three…cats.  She currently lives with her husband, Ken, and their three boys (Nikko, Midnite, & Rocky) in Los Angeles, CA.
